Beautiful 5 Bedroom 3 Bathroom South Facing Pool Home minutes from the mouse, The Emerald Island Gem is a wonderful alternative to hotels. If you're looking for a house to rent in Florida or a "Florida Disney Vacation Rental Home", you've found the right place for your family gatherings.

Have breakfast in your pyjamas. Swim in your own pool. Wash that favourite pair of jeans mid-week so you can wear them again. Like kid suites or family suites, you can have separate bedrooms, but still enjoy the room and comforts of home all while learning what it's like to live as a local in Florida.

The Emerald Island Gem is available for vacation rentals all-year-round (subject to availability). It is located at Emerald Island Resort which is in the Formosa Gardens area of Kissimmee, Florida (just outside of Disney-Orlando, FL). Formosa Gardens is the closest residential area to Disney so trips to and from the Disney parks is simple and very quick. We are a genuine 5 minutes from the entrance to Disney World (the Magic Kingdom fireworks can be seen from the upstairs front bedrooms of the house). The house was brand new as of April, 2004.

Travel about one mile from the house and you'll find a large Shopping Center on US 192 with a supermarket, a walk-in medical clinic, drug stores and many restaurant franchises. We feel it's the absolute best location outside of Disney.

We, as owners of this home, are experienced Disney area renters. We've used our experience to help make this home as well-equipped as possible. You'll feel comfortable from the moment you enter the home. From the large family room with big-screen TV to the 3 King sized beds, central air conditioning and the ceiling fans and TV's in all bedrooms.

The Emerald Island Gem is 2 miles from Disney World in a gated resort community (only a genuine 5 minute drive away from the gates of World Drive)
